Project: Diversion to prevent homelessness for families with children

About:

This project will help 80 homeless families with children under 18 in Portland either prevent or end their homelessness.



Portland State University Foundation - Center for Women's Leadership

Project: Center For Women's Leadership GOALS program: Girls Oregon Action Leadership Service

Year: 2017 Grant Amount: $12,000 Location: Portland, OR
About:

The GOALS program works collaboratively with a Teen Council of 30+ teen girl leaders from approximately 15 high schools to host an all-day educational Leadership Summit for 300+ girls from approximately 40 Portland Metro Area high schools.

   

         

 



Treasure Valley Children's Relief Nursery

Project: Creating a Natural Playground

Year: 2017 Grant Amount: $10,500 Location: Ontario, OR
About:

At-risk toddlers will get to safely explore and play. Trauma’s negative impact on children is well-documented. Our play area will provide many opportunities for children to grow their imaginations, build their vocabularies, and learn about nature.

United Cerebral Palsy of San Luis Obispo

Project: Parents of Joy All-Inclusive Playground

Year: 2017 Grant Amount: $2,000 Location: Atascadero, CA
About:

Supports the construction of a playground accessible to all children, regardless of ability. The playground will be designed to make social play easier for children with cerebral palsy and other special needs.  NOTE: this grant does not conform to Lamb Foundation’s usual guidelines.



Walla Walla Watershed Foundation

Project: Walla Walla Basin Watershed Council Education Outreach Program

Year: 2017 Grant Amount: $10,000 Location: Walla Walla, WA
About:

The program engages 600+ students and 100+ adults each year in a collection of experiential learning activities to improve audience’s understanding of natural resources and systems, to foster restoration and sustainability in the Walla Walla watershed basin.
