Deschutes River Conservancy

Project: Deschutes Basin Water Collaborative

Year: 2020 Grant Amount: $10,000 Location: Bend, OR
About:

The Collaborative will accelerate implementation of water supply projects to meet river and community water needs. This grant will support the staff capacity to coordinate, facilitate and provide technical support to the Collaborative.  The immediate goal is to develop a Framework Plan that will allow the group to address immediate barriers to implementation like policy and funding issues.



Family Access Network Foundation

Project: FAN Advocate Services in Central Oregon

Year: 2020 Grant Amount: $10,000 Location: Bend, OR

FAN typically serves over 9,000 struggling children and families every year. Funds from the Lamb Foundation will provide 100 of these children with the essential resources they need in order to thrive in school.

Project: We will provide free financial education to 23,000 young people, 51-75% of whom will come from low-income backgrounds.

We will provide free financial education to 23,000 young people, 51-75% of whom will come from low-income backgrounds.  These programs will provide low-income youth with education and training that will help them meet financial challenges like the one we face with COVID-19. They will also help them understand important financial concepts, make healthy, proactive financial choices, and set and achieve long-term financial goals.

Project: Support to Youth Experiencing Homelessness

Funds from the Lamb Foundation will support our work to serve Oregon’s most vulnerable community members and will strengthen our ability to provide consistent and focused attention to each individual along their journey to stability.



Human Solutions

Project: Keep Families & Children Housed (COVID-19)

Human Solutions will work with up to 500 low-income families (1,460 adults and 945 children) living in affordable housing communities in the racially diverse and high poverty area of East Multnomah County to keep them housed during COVID19.

Project: Relief Nursery for Klamath Falls

A Family Gathering Place Relief Nursery will support sixteen families via a therapeutic classroom and respite model in Klamath County. Due to COVID19, serving all kids in family – in addition to the 0-5 age range of focus.

Project: Native Family Advocacy Program

About:

NICWA works to eliminate child abuse and neglect by strengthening our families, tribes, and the laws that protect them. These funds will support the Native Family Advocacy Program, providing direct services in Oregon.



Oasis Advocacy & Shelter, Inc.

Project: Rental Assistance/Homelessness Prevention  

Year: 2020 Grant Amount: $15,000 Location: Gold Beach, OR
About:

In Curry County, Oregon, we plan to prevent homelessness for 15 families over the course of approximately 1 year. “Families” who have experienced a form of interpersonal violence/abuse will be given priority.



Oregon Wildlife Foundation

Project: Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund In Memory of Bob Toman

Funds from this request will help establish the Oregon Conservation and Recreation Fund; a funding mechanism for conservation that doesn’t rely exclusively on hunting and fishing fees. SoundStart

Project: Let Them Be Little: A Playground for Infants and Toddlers Who are Deaf

Year: 2020 Grant Amount: $18,745 Location: Beaverton, OR
About:

SoundSTART offers comprehensive care for children and young adults using cochlear implants and hearing aids, and their families. The playground expands the full-day care classroom outside and provides a developmentally appropriate, safe place to play.
